A Young Woman Engages In Irresponsible And Hazardous Drinking And Finds Top Shelf Help At An Alcohol Treatment Clinic For Symptoms Of Alcohol Withdrawal And Symptoms Of Alcoholism
Beth was the mother of four children. Beth had been feeling very stressed out recently and began to "medicate" herself by drinking several shots of whiskey each night after she tucked her children into bed. After just about three months of this drinking routine, she finally realized that instead of helping her unwind and deal with her problems, drinking alcohol made her feel less tranquil when she awakened. This, consequently, made her feel even more tense all through the day.
After reflecting on her predicament for a week or two, Beth made up her mind to discuss her drinking situation with her best friend. In point of fact, about twenty-five minutes into their chat, Beth's friend Helen, told her that she knew about an extremely highly qualified and supportive doctor at the local drug and alcohol rehabilitation clinic. After talking to her friend, Beth without much ado got motivated to call the rehab center and make an appointment.
Eight days later she eventually got to meet the psychiatrist her friend had been talking about. After their brief introduction, Beth told the psychiatrist that ever since she and her former husband got divorced, she has been having an extremely difficult time spiritually, financially, and emotionally.
As Beth was talking to the psychiatrist, she emphasized the point that she honestly believed that her former husband and she dated long enough to know each other well enough before they got married. After the kids started to arrive, to the contrary, just about everything seemed to worsen. What is more, both Robert and she started to drink, and their unhealthy and abusive drinking adversely impacted their relationship, their love for one another, and their finances.
The psychiatrist explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been experiencing are due to her careless and irresponsible drinking. The doctor also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the more common symptoms of alcoholism and that the most effective solution for this is alcohol treatment.
After spending three months in residential alcohol rehabilitation, Beth was gradually able to see that the main root of her tension and her depression was the fact that she had not resolved her resentful feelings she has expressed for her former husband who divorced her. In a word, Beth let these feelings disturb her to such an extent that she became a person addicted to alcohol.
Armed with these insights and with the meds her doctor prescribed, she finally refrained from drinking, she started to feel substantially less depressed, and she began making more time for social activities with her family and friends. What is more, a few months after getting treatment from her psychiatrist, she even started to date once again.
It was plain to see that Beth had come a long way. In point of fact, just around seven months after she completed her counseling, she had finally laid the harmful feelings of her former husband to rest and was starting to feel more complete and more spiritually"alive" and psychologically "together" than she had ever felt in her life.
