A Low Priced Wall Mount Heater May Not Provide You With So Much Warmth I got the Soleus HGW308 model electrical heater that you could mount to your wall last year. The main reason why I purchased this electrical heater is because we moved into a home that does not have central heat and air. It also had absolutely no heat whatsoever anywhere, nothing previously installed. I have 2 little kids and as everyone knows space heaters usually are not good for children to be around. So once I spotted this wall mount heater I thought it would be perfect. I could install this high enough on the wall that little hands could not reach it. Well sorry to say that's the only good thing this kind of wall mounted electric heater is good for. Though my very own children did not touch the heater and it did look so much better than any unit sitting on the floor, they also didn't get hot enough. The heater doesn't put out enough heat to warm a standard sized room. So I went out and purchased two of these wall mounted heaters. One for each kid's room. I put them on the walls and hoped for the best. Their rooms just got a little warmer compared with the rooms without heat in them. Even with the doors closed they had to curl up inside their blankets and the room felt cool. I don't think the room ever attained the set temperature or that the heater ever cut off since it never ever reached the set temperature. So that isn't really Eco friendly, now is it? Needless to say, I took both wall heaters back to the store. I bought the older model that goes on the floor. While they're ugly they do work. Not long after I got central heat into the home. Now my house is cozy and toasty in the winter season, with the children snug safe in their beds. I don't recommend to buy low cost wall mount heaters for your residence, but rather go for high quality ones.
